Welcome to Tutoring Workshop
Hello everyone!
Part of your class participation grade this semester includes meeting with one of our tutors for four workshops. We will use Zoom or Canvas Conferences as a virtual meeting space for these workshops. There will be three workshop topics. These workshops are a separate requirement from the one-on-one intensive also required and assigned as needed. See our syllabus section "Assignments: Engagement" for more information.
All four workshops are due to be completed by Friday, March 12 on four separate days.
Workshops Info:
The workshop appointments will be 30-minute sessions that include three to five students. At least three students need to sign up for a workshop (no more than five students) time to make. Be sure to check in with your 3B4M to see if they're interested in the same workshop topic. You may can meet your requirement faster that way. During each workshop, our tutor will present information on the topic for 5 to 10 minutes. Then, the rest of the time will be open for sharing your own work, thoughts and/or questions. If the workshop time slot does not have three students at least four hours before the scheduled time, it will be cancelled. If the workshop makes, join on Zoom at least five minutes before the start time!
You will meet with one of the following tutors during the workshop:
Check-in with the tutor to see if they are using Canvas Conferences or Zoom.
